Welcome!
I primarily take nature photographs and I have a certain fondness for macro work, as well as more abstract views of the world. I’ve found that I like to work with more off beat nature subjects like moss, algae, and reflections. But it’s also enjoyable to approach common subjects and try to find a new ways of capturing their uniqueness, and give them my personal touch.
Almost all of my pictures are taken in an area called les collines de l’Outaouais “(Google Maps)“, a beautiful hilly region where forests and lakes abound (that, as well as mosquitos and horse flies!). I therefore take most of my pictures within a few kilometers from home, most of the time just outside the front door.
I’d resume it in saying that I’m looking for beauty, life and meaning in the small & simple. All of which I hope to share in this blog, a creative outlet I hope will be as engaging for the author as for the reader. I am a French Canadian, so you may see the occasional bit of French, and maybe even a few poems as I have that fatal flaw too. I’m sure we’ll manage!
You can see the different theme sets of my pictures in my Flickr account here. Please contact me if you are interested in using any of my pictures.
Thanks for visiting!
